Media event: "Make the internet your friend": Roadmap for the digital skills offensive

Around 4,500 "Digital Everywhere" workshops will strengthen digital skills in Austria as of March. The workshop programme is implemented by the OeAD, Austria's education agency.

Interested individuals can now attend workshops free of charge (information at: digitalaustria.gv.at/kompetenzen). As of the summer every municipality will also be able to book workshops to make their citizens digitally fit. In cooperation with the OeAD 36 adult education providers have so far organised around 800 workshops in over 200 municipalities with over 8,500 participants throughout Austria.

We would like to inform you about the further roadmap of the digital skills offensive, which will be presented tomorrow by the state secretary Florian Tursky.
